In the last week of July Paul goes in Japan, to check out some cars, visiting the performance shop Mine’s, see images of this visit here. TEEN CHOICE AWARDS: RESULTS
 
At the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, on 3 nominations, Fast and Furious wins only with Jordana Brewster as Choice Movie Actress: Action Adventure. No awards for the movie in the cathegory Choice Movie: Action Adventure, and or Paul Walker as Choice Movie Actor: Action Adventure.

FAST & FURIOUS 5 CONFIRMED
 
According to French site LeBuzz.info, in occasion of the launch of the DVD of Fast and Furious, and the short movie Los Bandolers, Sung Kang and Justin Lin confirm that “Fast and Furious 5 is on developpement”. No date announced for the release of this new chapter of Fast and Furious franchise yet, possibly not before 2011, due to Vin Diesel’s schedule.
 
 Paul attended the Summer TCA Tour of 2009 to promote the National Geographic documentary he mades earlier this year involving the great white sharks. It's called "Expedition Great White" and it will be aired in November during Expedition Week on the Discovery/National Geographic Channel. (Pictures from the event coming soon)

Shelter Documentary Highlights Santa Barbara Homeless
The Veterans Memorial Building hosted a screening of documentary filmmaker Brandon Birtell’s Shelter. The sold-out screening –– which was a continuation of a July 13 public memorial for the 17 Santa Barbara homeless people who have died in 2009 — included the silent auction of artist Morris Bear Squire’s sculpture, which was revealed at the memorial. Actor and Santa Barbaran Paul Walker, who produced Shelter, made a quick appearance to help introduce it. Walker apologized for Birtell’s absence and shot a quick video of the audience saying “Hi Brandon” to send to him. Squire’s sculpture –– donated by the artist as the event’s primary fundraising tool for Casa Esperanza –– raised $8,000 from the winning bidder, philanthropist Sara Miller-McCune. Casa Esperanza encourages anyone interested in donating time or resources to visit its website

PAUL FOR HOMELESS & MEXICO PROMOTION
 
Documentary Puts a Face on Homelessness in Santa Barbara
 
A benefit screening of 'Shelter,' set for Friday, aims to raise community awareness.
 
A look into the lives of Santa Barbara’s homeless is what producer Brandon Birtell intended with his documentary Shelter.
The film, produced in collaboration with actor Paul Walker, follows four people who live on the streets and in the Casa Esperanza homeless shelter.
A screening of the film set for Friday will be a fundraiser for Casa Esperanza, with donations accepted at the free event, and proceeds from an auction of a memorial statue created and donated by artist Morris Bear Squire going to the center. The sculpture was on display at the memorial for the 17 homeless people who have died this year, and in a State Street storefront afterward. The film will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday at the Veterans Memorial Building, 112 W. Cabrillo Blvd.
 
According to the site Vanguardia.com.mx. actors Woddy Harrelson, John Cusack, Danny Glover, Emma Stone, Paul Walker, Matt Dillon, Paul Bettany and director Roland Emmerich will be some of the Hollywood stars invading the squares of Cancun, from Agust 2 to 7, to promote the movies 2012, Takers, District 9, Legion & Zombieland.

PROTECTION: FIRST DETAILS
 
Many sites report now the news about Paul’ new project called Protection. While isn’t still sure the direction of Simon West, who’s already in talk for another movie, we have more details about the story. It’s about a twenty-one-year-old daughter of a Mexican judge who's targeted by mob types (after she sees them kill her father and other family members), and must stay on the run through dodgy places on both sides of the border, while an agent (Paul Walker) tries to protect her and the bad guy is hot on her trail.

The $75,000 Nissan Skyline GT-S, owned by professional driver Chris Milano and driven by Paul Walker in the "Fast & Furious," has been stolen.  The GT-S, which was made to look like a turbocharged GT-R in the movie, was taken from a warehouse in Los Angeles in just 10 minutes. The car was stolen Monday night, when thieves busted through a metal side-door. 
Milano says the car wasn't insured because it was mostly used for promotional purposes, but he is offering a reward for any information that could help in discovering the whereabouts of the car.

Simon West will direct the film in New Mexico in August. Walker, riding high following the worldwide success of Fast & Furious, plays a disgraced former Special Forces soldier who takes on Mexican gangs in an attempt to rescue a judge’s daughter.

EVILSEEK: CONFIRMED
 
According to IMDB, Paul's next project is: Evilseek. The movie, a supernatural thriller by Wayne Kramer (Running Scared), is about how every thousand years in Hell they elect a new Satan, and the reigning Satan has to take on the body of a mortal and find his successor, the most evil person alive. He takes over the body of an FBI profiler on a terrible serial killing case in LA. He’s inherited a 13 year old daughter, an ex-wife, a lesbian partner and some of the cop's dogged determination to catch the killer.
Thomas Jane is set to star, and according to previous interviews of Paul, he will play  the role of Satan.
Shooting will start probably in June/July.

Fast and Furious star Paul Walker says he's "bummed out" he couldn't make it Down Under for the premiere of the film, but he'll be back in May for a surfing trip.
Walker and co-star Vin Diesel upset fans when they pulled out of the Australian premiere last week, with Universal Pictures saying both had "fallen ill" on their European tour.
Fans were upset further when pictures turned up of Diesel clubbing in LA - a few days after he cancelled. Walker said while he, himself had pneumonia, he joked Diesel was too scared to come alone."It's one of my favourite territories so I'm kind of bummed out,"  Walker told AAP on Tuesday. "He (Diesel) was just scared, he didn't want to go without me," he laughed.
"I didn't even know he was sick until just the other day. I thought he did the Australian leg." Nevertheless, the keen surfer said he was coming back in May for a two week break. "We're (going) all over depending on where the surf is, just chasing it, that's what we do," Walker said.

CONFIRMED: 5TH FAST AND FURIOUS!
 
Universal Studios has confirmed that a fifth installment of The Fast and the Furious film series is underway for production.
As well, Paul Walker has confirmed the news that another one was in the line-up. Appearing on Los Angeles radio show Valentine in The Morning on Friday (10Apr09), he said, "This was supposed to be it... Without question, the way that thing's opened up, Vin (Diesel, co-star) and I will be coming back. We're making a fifth one and we're going to Brazil.”
 
Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are featured on the cover of the next issue of Entertaiment Weekly.

T.I. recently talked about "Bone Deep". T.I., who will not only star in the movie but also serve as a producer, talked about a title change and rumors about Chris Brown being dropped from the cast. "It's called Takers now.," T.I. said. "I can't confirm [Brown being dropped.] As the producer of the film I haven't been approached or confronted with that as being a possibility. I won't speak to that fact because I don't know it to be true." 'Takers' will also star Idris Elba, Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Michael Ealy, Haydden Christensen, Zoe Saldana and Jay Hernadez.
